Kate Middleton: A former party girl, drunken mess but future Queen of England? I don’t think so.
I can already imagine what the hate mail I am going to receive regarding this post will be, most definitely a few swear words here and there, some saying that she’s human and she’s allowed to have a good time. But most would be criticizing my choice of photos and how long ago they were taken, and that her partying and drunken nights are a thing of the past and she was young back then.
That’s what it might seem like, but here’s what I think about Kate Middleton’s past as portrayed in the four photos above:
Kate Middleton has no class.
Okay, so we all know the famous story of when William dumped Kate Middleton in 2007 and in a (what I would call desperate) attempt to get him back, she partied - hard. And believe it or not, she received praise for doing this because it worked; William eventually realized he made a “mistake” letting Kate go, and they eventually reconciled later that year. But what do I gather from her doing this? She has no class. I mean, for any other woman in her position, with an actual sense of independence and pride would have moved on. And no, I don’t mean move on as in hooking up and getting together with William’s FRIENDS like Kate, but actually moving on with your life and not giving a rat’s ass about Will. But no, Kate just could no bear herself to let what seem like the golden key to royalty go. So to show William what he was missing, she wore short and low cut dresses and partied it up around town, flirting with every male admirer that showed interest, making no attempt to hide this from the paparazzi and getting wasted night after night.
Why make yourself go through all this for a guy who apparently said that their relationship was fun once but now he’s bored?
Why not go on with life the way it was BEFORE you dated him?
I’m sure, like any woman, these questions would have briefly crossed Kate’s mind. But did she attempt to find the right answer to them? Nope. Instead, she chose to stoop to a lower level and do what she did in the above four photos. She didn’t care about what people thought of her, so long as she got William back. Classy, anyone? Now I’m not calling myself Miss Perfect and Miss Classy, but would a genuine classy lady actually do all of this just for a guy? I get that they dated for 7 years or so before splitting and there was probably a truckload of emotions involved, but ever heard of holding your ground Kate?
So back to how long ago this occurred; she was 25 years old at the time. Now, four years and a royal wedding later, she’s received endless praise for her elegance, grace and class. Really? Can she really be called those three things just because she’s changed the way she dresses by choosing less revealing outfits, by always appearing to be perfectly groomed with those shiny brown locks or just by perfecting the royal wave and the demure way of getting out of a car?
No. You can take Kate and minus away all the dresses, nude pumps, Richard Ward hair salon appointments, dental whitening; and what are you left with? The same Kate Middleton in the above four photos four years ago. She is what she is. Although it may not appear that way on the outside in how she acts and carries herself, it’s what’s on the inside that counts; right?
